Support Programs for Rural Education
The Company has an Education Support Program targeted towards rural schools which are under staffed and under equipped which include education, outdoor activities and computer skills.
- Established a Computer Lab in the Government Primary School at Minikandala. Assisted to recruit a Computer Teacher to teach the students. Company facilitated a scholarship program for three students with a monthly payment to cover their educational expenses.
- Established a Computer Lab for the Staff in the Government Primary School at Morapitiya. Company facilitated a books and educational material all students who was sitting for 2018 Government Scholarship Examination. Company provided school bags, uniform material and other educational needs to all students at Morapitiya Primary School.
- The Company is providing Scholarship Program to study up to university for bright students of low income families.
Distributing Donations to needy Families during the times of Natural Disasters
The Company provide immediate assistance to people affected by natural disasters.
- The Company was some of the very few who reached the 2004 Tsunami affected areas with food, clothes and medicines. Company provided further food aid delivered by special charter aircraft which were donated by our partner Companies in the Czech Republic.
- Distributed food and clothing for the people affected by floods and land slides in Kalutara District several times.
